We are a small school of 140 children from many countries
as well as the Bahamas. Our class sizes seldom exceed 16 and each class has
a qualified teacher with a University degree and/or teaching
certificate. Our teachers are from Canada, the U.S., Britain and
the Bahamas. We follow a U.S. curriculum supplemented with British, Canadian, and Bahamian material.
The children are academically challenged in all subject areas. We maintain a family
atmosphere: each child is known by name by each member of staff. Parents are integral
in various functions within the school such as reading aloud to the younger children, and
assisting with swimming. Our Super Stars math programme thrives on enthusiastic
parent participation.

We have a wide curriculum in addition to
academics including art, music, and drama. We have boys' and girls' soccer teams
that compete against other schools. Private guitar, recorder, and piano lessons can be arranged for
after school. Other after-school activities include Choir, Karate,
art class, and dance.
Drama is emphasized with our Cultural Concert in December and our June
production in
which every child takes part. We have staged such plays as Romeo and Juliet,
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, Peter Pan, Little Mermaid,
and many others. Before work begins on the play, every child in the
school reads the story (or has it read to them.) The art and music in
each production is
a culmination of the year's work.
